MY HOME GYM
HOW IT WORKS
CALORIE ESTIMATES
Calories shown by My Home Gym are estimates. They are calculated using your body weight, exercise intensity, active exercise time and, when applicable, the weight of the equipment you use.
BODY WEIGHT
Your body weight is taken from your My Home Gym profile.
EXERCISE INTENSITY
Each exercise or workout has an intensity value called MET.
ACTIVE TIME
For circuit workouts, My Home Gym counts the time you are actively exercising.
For example, during a 20-second exercise interval, approximately 17 seconds are counted as active exercise time.
REST TIME
Rest periods are not included as active exercise time.
EQUIPMENT WEIGHT
When you use a barbell or dumbbells, the selected equipment weight slightly adjusts the calorie estimate.
For dumbbells, the selected weight is the weight of one dumbbell.
Example: 2 × 10 kg dumbbells = 20 kg total equipment load.
REP-BASED EXERCISES
For exercises performed by repetitions, active exercise time is estimated from the number of completed repetitions.
NUTRITION ESTIMATES
My Home Gym uses the information in your profile to estimate your daily energy and nutrition needs.
Your estimated daily calorie target is adjusted according to your selected goal.
Food preferences, diet style and allergies or exclusions are also taken into account when generating a nutrition plan.
NUTRITION DISCLAIMER
Nutrition plans, calorie targets and food quantities provided by My Home Gym are estimates intended for general informational and fitness purposes only.
If you have specific medical or nutritional needs, consult an appropriate healthcare professional before following a nutrition plan.
IMPORTANT
Calorie values are estimates and may differ from your actual energy expenditure.
